1st week

Venom vs Hurricanes

We fall apart. There are 2 sides in this team, the Kuantan side & the Gombak side. Its a pain to see how we do not understand each other. The Kuantan side, consist of 4 players actually were trained to be a shooting team, and we, on the other side, are actually prefer to attack under basket using the big guys and we like to play fast game, while they like to play delay offensive game. And this, lead to our lose to the strongwind boys from Keramat, with 19p margin. So, whats the solution ? Its TRAINING you guys.

2nd week

Venom vs Fenrir

We play improper basketball at the 1st and 2nd quarter. Thanks to Bukhari of team Cocoro, we can straighten our head in this game, focusing and stop blaming each other. He acted as our coach and made wise decisions. There's no solution if you keep pointing your own teammates mistakes. We won by 6p. Only 6p. And frankly, I do not feel satisfied at all. We can do better in this game.

3rd week

Venom vs Wemotor.com

Wemotor.com is actually the mobile company who sponsored a few players to play in this league. Very very very experience players, which for me is a combination of really really good shooters, good ballhandlers, and good post players. How can you stop 5-6 big guys who can play post and shoot 3p as well ? Ha ha. However, as we were down by 15 points in the 1st and 2nd quarter, we do not give up at all, we fight and fight until we got 5p differ from them. Only 5p at the middle of 3rd quarter, until we lose 22p in the end of the game. We manage to make less fumble, less turn- over, and less 'caru'ness from the previous games is actually a good improvement. And what's again you guys ? Its TRAINING.

4th week

Venom vs Swoosh II

We were predicted to lose this game, as all of the outsiders do not know us at all. Its okay. We do not care at all. Swoosh II is a good team, they manage to beat team Arions by 20p margin in the previous KLNC tournament. 1st and 2nd quarter were terrible, we are lost and blame each other (again). But in the 3rd and 4th quarter, we automatically stop all these nonsenses and start focusing on the game, thanks to Bukhari again. Sincerely, our big guy, Izzat is the turning point player. He, who did not perform at all in the previous 3 games, started to go wild and aggressive under basket, offensive and defensive. He also shoot out from the D line as well. A center, shoot 3p and score, how do you expect that ? It made us more and more hype. We fight and fight until 1p differ in the last 1 minute of the 4th quarter. Then team Swoosh II got 2 shoots of free throw which lead them 3p from us. With 30 seconds left, they play man to man full court press to stop our offensive. The last opportunity to shoot 3 is when the time is only 6 seconds left from the end, but we did not make it. Final score Venom 34 Swoosh II 37. Its a dramatic game you guys. We are not lucky this time. But honestly, this is the best game of all. We do not give up at all, and we fight and fight until the end. We do not have the smooth and 'pure' chemistry yet, otherwise we can be a very good team.
