NCBL 2009 - Teams Review/ Prediction.

Group A

(1) ARMY - big tall guys centers. ARMY/ATM have been playing in numerous cups such as petronas cup and agong cup thus make em a bit more experienced and better than other teams in division two. with abg pae as coach/player? (or pae is playing for other team?) ARMY is one tough opponent for the division two teams to beat especially if they are undersized.

(2) ARCHERS - man they are more lethal than awp and scout combine. probably one of the teams that prepared months earlier (since mb cup last year) I cud say that Archers is probably one of the few teams that play organize basketball in division 2. Beaten worthy opponents such as Lycans, Snipers and Swoosh 2, this team might go to the second round if they play well and keep their composure. they probably could have been better if they didn't turn down flames offer to guide them. 99% "flames Jr" minus the hot chixs - u guys can do better!

(3) ZERO - this is the wild card of the go up A, consists of players from ukm ground base, bangi and termites, zero could give some fight to Rebound (predicted to won the division 2 this year) if they could get some players outside of their pool ground.

(4) SWOOSH II - don't be fooled by the number and ages kids, oldskools are harder to beat because they have plenty of tricks up their sleeves. expect a slow, tactical, rough, physical games when against them. its only a matter how well are they going to work as a team.

(5) SNIPERS - unlike other teams, snipers gain more benefits with last season players left for other teams. with a new revamped lineup, snipers is determine to make a statement this year and with the help of ajim pegasus, razif swoosh, edika phantoms, aseng cocoro, and nazim archers, snipers is doing well in sultan cup div2 and the players are improving and gaining a lot of benefits from it.

(6) GRIFFIN - unknown to me.

(7) BENCHWARMERS - the outcast of scorekeys (at least half of their players played for scorekeys once - as the benchwarmer, hence the name) these guys have spirit, which is good. some of the players can actually play, especially those guys from uitm melaka and if given minutes and chances, they could probably capable of doing something.

(8) AMFABIA FROGGERS - consist of players from cyberjaya, froggers lack of basic and fundamental of basketball. hopefully with the exposure from ncbl, they will improve overtime and can make some impact in the scene.

Group B

(1) REBOUND - probably the champion of division two this year. with calibre and experienced players such as syed (phantoms/adan) and shan (swoosh/adan) this team shouldn't have any problem move to division one next year. however to secure the div2 trophy, rebound needs to have a good bench to support their starters.

(2) PHOENIX - young, fast, energizer bunny, and the phoenix rise. this team represent the young generation today, on and off the court. with superb record annihilating every single opponent toward their preparation matches for ncbl, phoenix will tear u down if u get caught with their tempo. with sham as their head coach, this team should have a good path to follow their idols. but do they have the mental toughness to be a champion?

(3) TITANS - will move to the 2nd round without any doubt. with the additional of new players and talents scouted outside of gombak/uia. titans will give rebound and phoenix some tough time with their fast game run, gun, and shoot playstyle. if the adik beradik can come to each game, titans will crush u.

(4) HURRICANES - yes, individually, they can play. but as a team, they are hopeless. this team focus too much in individualism hence destroy the main essence of basketball, teamwork. with pova running the show, the best they can go is probably QF and thats it.

(5) MALAYA TITAN - unknown to me.

(6) ARION - i recognize a few faces during the meeting. still that doesn't make any difference, unknown to me.

(7) YING HONG - actually ying hong, despite the name, consists of new inexperienced players. however they do have a knowledgeable coach and a couple of good players. still with the bench players are weak, they will need a lot of efforts for them in order to advance to the second round.

(8) KPTM - its good to see they are still playing. however, all of their good players from last year left to other teams and even sam i am is no longer with KPTM.
